So are the lessons like 5.3 going to be like this from now on because I am having a really hard time trying to understand what you're doing in the video. At the beginning of the video in lesson 5.3 it glitched out so there was no introduction on the topic you were going to do. So is the lesson about keeping the scale balanced by doing the exact same thing to both sides?

Hi Lilymar, yes a most of the lessons from 5.3 on are similar to the video that is in 5.3. It is too bad that the video glitched on you. When this happens, try refreshing your page and then going to the part where the glitch occured.

Yes, this lesson is about keeping scales balanced. It makes the connection that equations are like balanced scales and that just like a balanced scale, if you do something to one side of equation you have to do it to the other side in order for the equation to remain equal.
