Ch. 2.2, problem 9 asked for the hypothesis of a statement, but the solutions manual includes the "if" in their answer. I thought that the hypothesis does not include the "if". Could someone please confirm whether the solutions manual has a mistake? Thank you!
You are correct! The hypothesis is the portion of the sentence following the word "If." Must be a mistake.
