For 3 on the test, it asks "Are the triangles congruent? How do you know." I had answered that d was SSS, but when I checked it, it said that there was not enough information. Why is that?

#3d on Ch. 4 test : you have two pairs of sides marked as congruent to one another, and then one pair of angles. If the angle were BETWEEN the sides, then you could use SAS. However, the angle is not between the marked sides. You don't know anything about that third side with no marking. We don't have an SSA or ASS congruence theorem. Therefore, there is not enough info given in order to know that they are congruent.
