Hi, I just started this course and am trying to work through pacing issues. I've already done algebra 1 and all the concepts so far -such as lines, polygons, angles, etc- have been really basic to me. As I try to find a point where I start being challenged and learning more, what should I make sure to do and what's okay to skip/breeze through?

Great! That's really helpful. Thanks for the thoughts!
Hi Amy! It makes sense that you would want to get to where you are in your understanding. It's good to hear that you have an understanding of the basic foundations of geometric terms.
From what it sounds like you know, I'd suggest doing the introduction lesson, it is referred to later, and then begin at chapter 2.
But, in general, when determining your understanding for a chapter, I'd suggest doing the chapter review and then the chapter test. If you do well on both, you are ready for the next chapter. If you struggle with the review, go back to those concepts in the chapter. Do those lessons, then finish the review and go on to the test.
I do want to say that you may miss constructions if you skip lessons and chapters. If you come to a point in the book where you are supposed to know a construction, but didn't do that lesson, try looking in the help videos for the course. We have made individual construction videos for most of the basic constructions.
Let me know if that helps,
Tabitha
